Give Each Task a Concrete Next Step
Break a broad item such as organize finances into a smaller action: categorize this month's receipts or check one statement. Put that action in Tasks, choose its priority and select it as your session target.
Start the countdown when you have the materials ready. If the task takes longer than expected, record what remains before deciding on another block. Finishing early is a reason to review the plan, not to invent work to fill the timer.
Review Estimates Without Treating Time as Output
Look at your local session history alongside completed tasks. Use the comparison to decide whether future tasks need smaller steps, more preparation or a different time allowance.
For organizing a workday, open the work timer. For a single short action, use a 10-minute countdown. A timer can structure the attempt; it cannot guarantee a productivity increase.
